• Your business owns its records; we keep them safe and private.
  • You are responsible for the people you add and the reports you send.
  • AI drafts can be wrong; a person must check them before they reach a customer.
  • NODRO is in early access; we’ll give notice before any fees.
  • Nigerian law applies.

1. About these terms

These Terms of Use are an agreement between NODRO (“we”, “us”) and the business that registers to use NODRO (“you”). The person who registers the business confirms that they are allowed to accept these terms for it. Everyone you add to your NODRO account must also follow them. Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how we handle personal data and cookies.

2. The service

NODRO helps technical-service businesses record jobs, customers, sites and equipment; lets technicians record their work from a phone, including without network; produces service reports that can be shared with customers; and tracks when equipment is due for service. NODRO is in early access: features may change, and we will tell you about changes that matter to how you use it.

3. Your account and your team

  • Give accurate information when you register, and keep it up to date.
  • You decide who joins your account and what role they have. You are responsible for what they do in NODRO, and for removing people who should no longer have access.
  • Keep passwords private. Tell us straight away if you think someone has used your account without permission.
  • You must be at least 18 to register a business.

4. Your data

Everything your team records in NODRO (customers, sites, equipment, jobs, notes, photos, voice notes and reports) belongs to you. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide NODRO to you, to keep it secure, and as the law requires.

Your records include personal data about your customers and staff. For that data you are the controller and we process it on your behalf. You are responsible for having a lawful reason to record it and for telling the people concerned, as the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 requires. We will help you answer their requests: you can download or erase a customer’s data from their page, and download all of the business’s data from Your account. Our Data Processing Agreement sets out how we handle it for you and forms part of these terms.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use NODRO to:

  • break the law, or store content that is unlawful or abusive;
  • record personal data you have no right to record, or track people without a lawful reason;
  • send spam or misleading messages, including through report links;
  • try to get into other businesses’ data, test or bypass our security, or overload the service;
  • copy, resell or reverse-engineer NODRO, or share accounts with people outside your business.

6. Service reports and share links

When you share a report, anyone with its link can open it without signing in. Share links only with the right people. You can turn a link off at any time, after which it stops working. You are responsible for the content of the reports you send.

7. AI features

NODRO can turn voice notes into text and draft a service report from what your technician recorded. These drafts can contain mistakes. A person on your team must check and confirm a report before it is shared; only the confirmed report is shown to customers.

8. Phones and offline work

The technician app saves work on the phone until it can be sent. Keep your team’s phones locked and up to date. Changes that haven’t been sent are lost if someone signs out or clears the app’s data, and the app warns them first.

9. Fees

During early access, NODRO is provided on the terms we agree with you in writing, and free of charge unless agreed otherwise. Before we introduce or change any fee, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice. Fees will be in naira and exclude VAT, which is added where it applies.

10. Availability and support

We work to keep NODRO available and your data safe, but we can’t promise it will always be available or free of errors, especially during early access. We may need short breaks for maintenance and will try to schedule them outside working hours.

11. Other services

Some features open other services, such as WhatsApp to share a report or a map app for directions. Their own terms apply when you use them.

12. Our software and your feedback

NODRO, its design and its software belong to us. These terms give you the right to use NODRO, not ownership of it. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them to improve NODRO without owing you anything.

13. Confidentiality

We keep your business information confidential and only share it as described in our Privacy Policy or where the law requires.

14. Suspension and closing your account

You can stop using NODRO and delete your account at any time from Your account, after downloading a copy of your records. If the owner deletes their account, the whole business is deleted: nothing is removed for 30 days, and signing in again in that time cancels it. After that everything is permanently deleted, except what the law requires us to keep, and backups age out within 35 days.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts other users or NODRO at risk, or where the law requires. Where we reasonably can, we will warn you first and give you time to fix the problem.

15. Disclaimer

NODRO is a record-keeping tool. It does not replace your own professional judgement, safety procedures or the manufacturer’s instructions for the equipment you service. Apart from what these terms say, NODRO is provided “as is”, to the extent the law allows.

16. Limits on liability

Neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost business. Our total liability to you under these terms is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and ₦100,000. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

17. Your responsibility to us

You will cover our reasonable losses from claims by others that arise from the data you put into NODRO or from your team breaking these terms.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For important changes we will tell you at least 30 days before they take effect. If you keep using NODRO after that, the new terms apply; if you don’t agree, you can close your account.

19. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If we disagree, we will first try to settle it by talking in good faith for 30 days. If that doesn’t work, the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria, will decide.
