In short: NODRO uses a cookie to keep you signed in, one to remember your cookie choice, and one to remember your language if you choose one. We only use other cookies, such as analytics, if you choose “Accept” on our cookie banner; today we don’t use any. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of the page.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small file a website saves in your browser so it can remember something between visits, such as the fact that you have signed in.

The cookies we use

NameWhat it doesHow longType
nodro.session_tokenKeeps you signed in to NODRO, so your jobs and records load without asking for your password every time. It can’t be read by scripts on the page.30 days, renewed each day you use NODRO. Removed when you sign out.Strictly necessary
nodro.consentRemembers whether you chose “Accept” or “Decline” on the cookie banner, so we don’t ask on every page.6 months, then we ask again.Strictly necessary
nodro.localeRemembers the language you chose for our website, so it opens in that language next time. Only set when you choose a language.1 yearFunctional (your choice)

Strictly necessary cookies are needed for a service you asked for, so they don’t need your consent. Without them, you can’t stay signed in and we can’t remember your choice.

What the technician app saves on phones

So technicians can work without network, the technician app saves some things on their phone. These are not cookies, but we list them because they work in a similar way:

  • Jobs and changes waiting to be sent: the jobs assigned to the technician, and notes, parts and reports made while offline, until they reach NODRO.
  • Photos and voice notes: kept on the phone until they have been uploaded.
  • The app itself: a copy of the app’s files, so it opens without network.

Signing out of the technician app removes the saved jobs, changes, photos and voice notes from that phone.

What the office app remembers in your browser

The website and office app keep a few small notes in your browser’s storage. They never leave your device and aren’t used to track you:

  • Whether you’ve seen the welcome tour, so it only starts on its own once.
  • Whether you hid the “Get set up” checklist on the dashboard.
  • When you last used NODRO, so we can log you out after an hour without activity and keep open tabs in step.
  • Whether you chose the light or dark look, so pages open the way you like them. If you leave it on “System”, nothing is saved and your device decides.

Service report links

The report links that businesses send their customers set no cookies and don’t show the cookie banner. Customers don’t need an account to open a report.

Your choice

The first time you visit, a banner asks whether we may use non-essential cookies. “Accept” and “Decline” are equally easy, and declining doesn’t limit anything you can do in NODRO. Nothing non-essential loads until you accept, and you can change your mind with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the website, in the account menu of the office app, or under More in the technician app.

How to remove cookies

Signing out removes the sign-in cookie. You can also delete cookies and site data in your browser’s settings at any time; you will then need to sign in again.

Changes to this policy

We may later add tools that help us understand how NODRO is used or reach new customers, such as analytics or advertising. When we do, we will list them here, and they will only run for people who have chosen “Accept”.
